The Brain Cancer Awareness Foundation is a SOON TO BE 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization. The Brain Cancer Awareness Foundation was founded to not only raise awareness for brain cancer, but to help individuals and families affected by brain cancer.
Tyler Lyon (2014 – Current) – Executive Director/Founder
I am the executive director/founder of the organization. I decided to start the Brain Cancer Awareness Foundation because my mother passed away from brain cancer in 2005. This was hard because she did not know what she had at first. If she would have known the symptoms of brain cancer she might have survived or even lived a little longer. I want individuals to know a little bit more about brain cancer, what is, and how to take care of it if they do have it or think that they have it. I also know what it is like to loose someone close to you and the struggles on goes through when they loose a loved one to cancer. I want to be able to provide to cancer patients and their families during the fight, and if it comes down to it, perish the thought, after the fight.
